2025 Local First Indie Award Winners
Each year, the Local First Indie Awards shine a spotlight on the people and businesses that make La Plata County not just a place to live, but a place to love. These awards recognize the local legends, rising stars, community collaborators, and localists who strengthen our local economy while also championing values of sustainability, equity, and ingenuity.
This year’s winners were recently honored during the 2025 Local First Member Celebration, held at the newly opened EsoTerra Arboretum. With a stunning mesa views, fabulous live music, delicious cider, and warm mountain air, it was the perfect setting for a night of local pride. The event was made possible by generous support from Shaw Solar, a longtime advocate for renewable energy and local sustainability.
