Blue Rain Gallery

Experience the unique artistry of Nathan Bennett at Blue Rain Gallery in Durango from November 1 – 29 with an opening reception on Friday, November 1st from 5-7pm.
Bennett, a master patineur with over 30 years of experience, transforms the centuries-old process of patination into a fine art medium on bronze. Using a combination of chemicals and heat, he creates landscapes that explore light, darkness, and hope. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind result of Bennett’s expert blending of natural elements, fire, and artistic vision, offering a contemporary take on an ancient technique.

Boheme Design & Art House is hosting local artist Ella Bridge for a pop-up art show in their studio as part of Durango’s First Fridays. Celebrate interesting art with some light bites, drinks, and conversation in the studio with Ella Bridge.

Any and all stores are welcome to participate in Durango First Friday from the north side of town to the south. Thanks to the generosity of the city of Durango, there will be free bus and trolly services every First Friday to accommodate ease of getting from one end of town to the other easily and safely.
