Celebrating Local at the 2026 Be Local Bash

The Be Local Bash is a celebration of the partnerships, purpose, and entrepreneurial spirit that power localism in our region. At the event, guests gathered to enjoy delicious bites from Graze Colorado, live music from Leah Orlikowski sponsored by Jimmy’s Music & Supply, and a keynote presentation from John Shaw of Shaw Solar. Together, we reflected on a year of impact, celebrated our Local First members, and looked ahead to the future of a thriving, resilient local economy.
Another highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Indie Awards, recognizing businesses and individuals whose commitment to community, collaboration, sustainability, and local impact helps strengthen Southwest Colorado.
