What sets Arete Mortgage apart from other mortgage banks and brokers?

Arete Mortgage has been a local and independent business since inception – it’s in our DNA and who we are at the core of our business! Arete Mortgage stands out in several ways that make us unique among local mortgage banks and brokers:

Local and Independent: As a woman-owned business based in Colorado, Arete Mortgage offers a personalized touch that larger institutions often lack. This local presence allows for tailored services that cater specifically to the needs of clients in Colorado and New Mexico. “It’s all about trust” is more than a tagline – it’s how we live.

Experience and Expertise: With over 20 years in the mortgage industry and as the owner and founder, Jeanne brings a wealth of experience to the table. This longevity not only ensures a deep understanding of the market, but also establishes trust and reliability among clients (who turn into friends). Most of our business is referral-based because we are reliable and trustworthy. And fun: we like to have fun and find humor in many situations!

Client-Centric Approach: Arete Mortgage prioritizes client satisfaction above all else. We are known for our commitment to providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that each client receives personalized guidance throughout the mortgage process.

Range of Products: Whether it’s traditional mortgages, refinancing options, or specialized products like reverse mortgages, Arete Mortgage offers a diverse range of solutions to meet varying financial needs and goals.

Community Engagement: Arete Mortgage is actively involved in the local community, supporting initiatives that enhance the quality of life for residents. This community-focused approach resonates with clients who value businesses that give back.

Can you share a success story where working with Arete Mortgage was more effective than with larger firms?

A local client recently called Arete Mortgage after contacting a national lender for a refinance, who over-promised and under-delivered. Arete were able to close her loan quickly. Here’s what the client said in her review:

“Jeanne and the team at Arete were able to help me refinance my home and pay off all my consumer debt when other companies would not help. I highly recommend reaching out to them if you have student loans that may be holding you back from your dreams of home ownership or refinancing!” – Rachel McGaw, Arete Mortgage Client
