Local First’s Annual Celebration
Keeping Independent Businesses First!

Pandemic restrictions, staffing changes, and a whole new virtual world – business has been anything but usual this year. But finally, there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel. Local First is looking forward to seeing our members “face-to-face” for our first (and hopefully last) online Member Meeting, featuring a Local Lunch Voucher, curated Raffle Prizes, a nationally-renowned Keynote Address, & Awards Ceremony celebrating our community’s resiliency as we all plan for a brighter future.

Enter the Raffle to Support Local Resiliency!

We will be drawing 3 raffle winners throughout the Local Celebration – Enter for your chance to win a curated gift box of local gifts courtesy of our members! You must be 21 or older to purchase a ticket.

A Sneak Peak at the Prizes:

Proceeds from the raffle help support Local First’s work to offer resources and funding to our local, independent business community as we continue to weather the economic uncertainty of this year.

Register by March 30th to Receive a Discounted Lunch from 2nd Street Deli!

We’re bummed we can’t meet in person this year, but we figure the next best thing is to “share” a meal together from a local restaurant!

All registrants will receive $10 off their lunch from 2nd Street Deli – you can pick up your meal to enjoy with us during the Local Celebration, or save it for another day! Either way, we hope we run into some of you along the way.

Welcoming Nationally-Renowned Local Powerhouse, Stacy Mitchell!
Ryan David Brown for The New York Times

We are beyond excited to welcome Stacy Mitchell, co-director of the Institute for Local Self-Reliance, for a keynote address at this year’s Local Celebration!

Known for her unapologetic stance against corporate monopolies, Stacy has been one of local businesses’ strongest advocates in Washington. As an advisor to policymakers and grassroots organizations, Mitchell has developed and helped enact city, state, and federal policies that level the playing field for independent businesses, curb corporate power, and strengthen communities.

Join us to hear how the pandemic has impacted local business nation-wide, and what that means for our corner of Colorado.
