Spoketober Family “Fun” Ride
October 9th | 11AM

Cyclists of all ages and skill levels are invited to partake in Durango's largest group "fun" ride to kick off this month of Spoketober! The party starts at 11 am at the Center of Southwest Studies at Fort Lewis College, where cyclist will gather for a group ride from the college to Buckley Park in downtown Durango.

The city of Durango and Durango Fire Protection District are making progress in planning a proposed police/fire station at the River City Hall site. A number of public meetings are to be scheduled to review progress of station designs. Individuals who serve in these positions participate in the on-going county government decision-making process and assist in the oversight of how services are provided to our residents.
