Colorado restaurants, breweries, food trucks & other businesses are invited to learn about applying for the new $28.6 billion COVID relief program
Senator John Hickenlooper and the Colorado Restaurant Association hosted a webinar for restaurants, breweries, and other businesses on applying for the new $28.6 billion Restaurant Revitalization Fund, which provides flexible grants to help businesses in the food and drink industry recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Under the new program, created by the American Rescue Plan, eligible businesses will be able to receive grants equal to their pandemic-related revenue loss of up to $10 million. Grants distributed under this fund are flexible and can be used for expenses in addition to payroll, such as mortgage, rent, supplies, and construction — for example, if a restaurant incurred costs to expand outdoor seating.
Applications for the grant program are available on the Small Business Administration’s website. A fact sheet on the program is available HERE.
